Description

The basic concepts of number theory, including number systems, set theory and functions are examined in a manner relevant to middle-level teachers. To model appropriate middle-level instructional strategies, teaching methods include calculator and computer applications, hands-on manipulatives (number chips, place value strips, abacus), and lecture.
